I really liked the cheeseburger, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best in London. I think there are better ones out there. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it at all, it might just be that my expectations were quite high. I was expecting the bun to be served warm, and the fries could have been crispier.
For the number 1 rated UK burger, everything was perfect. From the drinks to the staff to the music and of course to the food it was all perfect, I've tried Gordon Ramsay Street burger. I'm not joking, this one is better! It was very close but black bear burger is better. You must go at least once. I've now gone twice, worth it.
Went to Black Bear Burger today with my woman, and the team helped me give her a promise ring. We were there with our two little girls, and the staff went above and beyond for us. They even gave us a discount on our meal. The whole experience was lovely, we truly felt at home. Thank you for making our day special and unforgettable.
Wings are best I've had in London very good burger was very good as well you can tell it's quality meat !. Super service and great atmosphere in the famous Brixton Market ! And don't forget the mini ice creams :)
I went on a very quiet Tuesday at around six. I was the only person in the restaurant. I ordered the 2025 burger of the year with fries and a beer. The beer was served along with a cold glass which was a nice touch. I found the fries were a bit over salted but otherwise they would have been alright nothing particularly special though. The burger was very good but is it the best burger I've had? probably not but it was enjoyable. Overall I spent over thirty pounds for the meal which was a bit expensive but that's pretty typical nowadays. Oh, one issue to be aware of is that the restaurant does not have its own toilets so you have to go down the street to use a public toilet, I found that very strange.
Honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Would highly recommend going and having a burger and the parmesan potatoes. Absolutely gorgeous. Will defo be going back.
